San Anselmo Hotel - Rome

The room was outstanding with views over Rome skyline, balcony, for instance and safety measures included smoke detectors. We had a splendid and satisfactory breakfast, appreciated the meal with strawberries and cheeses, as for instance. The staff were all amazing and provided good service.

Overall a fantastic stay for a Roma visit. Great location close enough to get into city centre, in the pretty nice area. Easy walk to an Aventine hill.

We were there for 1 day, everything was very easy, greatly enjoyed its stunning location just off a local residential area, Piazza of the Knights of Malta and a really neat landmark, The Aventine Keyhole. The staff was wonderful and amazing and provided perfect service.

Complimentary Prosecco was a lovely touch.

What a joy to sleep in Rome with the windows open & wake up to birds singing instead of traffic noises. Great breakfast, lovely hand painted walls,lots of marble in bathroom & soft linens. Deluxe area. Short walk to Piramide subway stop.

We loved the design of the hotel! And the small "piazza" where it stands! Very friendly staff and 5 minutes walk of a bus stop

Garden with orange trees, Scenic walks to attractions, Artistic touches in all rooms

Rooms could be better maintained!!! Housekeeping needs to step up on replenishing toiletries!!! Early bar closure limits evening enjoyment!!! Communication about hotel facilities could improve significantly!!!

Everything about this hotel was perfect - the location in this green and quiet neighbourhood, but yet close to the center; the cosy and romantic room; the most comfortable bed and big luxuries bathroom; the music station in the room offering a wide choice of music; the delicious breakfast; the relaxed atmosphere

The views from the high terrace are amazing. The garden area is perfect for breakfast. My room was fine with elegant decor and a spacious bathroom. The staff was friendly 🌸

Polite and very polite personnel at the reception desk, everything was very easy.

although a little pricey, it was lovely for a little luxury break without the kids. Situated on the outskirts of the city it wasnt a problem to walk to the bus line down the road by the circus maximus, Breakfast was amazing, I could of sat and ate all day if there wasnt so much to see.

The hotel is perched on top of aventine hill, offering peace and a beautiful view. Every morning began with a good breakfast in the garden. My room was fine, with a classy touch and a huge bath. Super clean and good staff made it even better.

Great hotel: well located near Palatino; very stylish; extra mentioning of the breakfast: WOW! Would not hesitate to take it again.

Internet could be faster; they also have an annoying setup whereby you cannot decide on your room temperature yourself - since the "default" airco is set way too hot, you need to balance it with closing and opening your window to get cold air in. Also, one of our colleagues had to abandon first night (stuck in plane in US) and they refused to adjust the booking and did charge full amount - very poor behaviour and money-hungry!
